Verano-on-Tour exposures itself in Luxembourg

The second trip with Verano-on-Tour has just passed, this time to Luxembourg, where we participated in the “GR Business Days” event. We could state that we feel ourselves more like at home in Europe after this trip. So called “The Greater Region” represents a unique economic macro-region, being consisted of the Lands of Rhineland Palatinate and Sarreland in Germany, the Walloon region in Belgium, the Lorraine region in France and, in its heart, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The geographic space extends over a total area of 65,400 km² and accommodates more than 11.3 million inhabitants, 375,000 businesses, 37 universities and 370,000 students. Characterised by the regular flow of approx. 200,000 cross border workers and consumers, more than 132,000 thereof commuting to Luxembourg alone, the economy of the Greater Region is marked by a cosmopolitan population and represents a model for the EU. Situated in the centre of the European industrial development, the cross border territory of the Greater Region is the source of rich and sustained economic relations and represents a place of very intensive business contacts and exchanges. Inheriting an economy based on the mining and steel industry, this economic area intends more and more to develop in the service sector as well as in exports, innovation and R&D related to industrial clusters. The GR Business Days is a professional trade fair dedicated to SMEs such as Verano Convector and innovative start-ups of the Greater Region and beyond. Organised by the Chamber of Commerce of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, this annual b2b reference meeting point has at its core an exciting and modern format of international business networking in an exclusive and dynamic environment. During the dedicated business meetings we have had an opportunity to present our wide range of trench/floor convector heating and cooling units to selected system designers, architects and investing developers but also what was more significant we invited some them to visit our presentation camper van – Verano-on-Tour where we presented the full range of our heating and cooling products. We have successfully used this trip also for visiting regional whole-sale merchants in Belgium and for meeting up potential distributing business partners from Germany in Berlin.
